Hank's little Z scale world is a real charmer.  Hank contacted us after one of our eBay auction that we had for some painted and detailed Marklin Z Scale buildings. He had a dilemma , he had buildings that came with his Marklin setup but he needed them painted and detailed.  We helped him out and you can see them in the pictures below.

Hank is from Northeast PA and shares a love with the Lackawanna (DL&W) Railroad like I do (My Grandfather was a fireman on the Lackawanna in the 1920's). He really made the Marklin setup look like the hills of Pennsy coal country.  His next step will be re-lettering and detailing his motive power and rolling stock for the Lackawanna in the 1930's and 40's.

Thanks again Hank for sharing photos of your setup with us here at M&M Built Scale Structures .

Big time railroading that fits in a corner of any room.  That is what I need to look into !

You could just hear a Lackawanna Pocono class steam hauling a large coal train over the steel arch bridge.

Looks like a quiet Sunday morning in a Northeast PA hamlet.

With a backdrop this layout look a lot bigger than it is.  Reminds me of Plymouth, PA near Wilkes-Barre

Says Phoebe Snow , about to go , upon a trip to Buffalo

"My gown stays white , from morn till night , Upon the Road of Anthracite"

Thanks again Hank for sharing these photos with us.  Hope to see more once the lettering is done !
