Central New York Railroad - An amazing O Scale world ! Jim's
layout has something for everyone ! 3-rail , 2-Rail, On30 Narrow gauge.
His layout has been featured in numerous articles and covers of O Gauge
Railroading magazine. If you are an O Scale fan, You have to check out his
layout ! I can't wait to see it myself !

Twin City Model Railroad Museum - One of the nicest O
Scale layouts I ever scene. The museum with a footprint dating back in
the 1930's has one of the best prototype layouts based on the Twin Cities
area. I could just see my old O Scale EL Lake Cities running through
the bluff's area on their layout :)

New York
Society of Model Engineers (NYSME) - The oldest model RR club in the
country. Chartered in 1926, the NYSME operates 2 large club layouts.
One in HO and the other O Scale. I first seen this layout back in 1969
when I was 6 and I was hooked. Located in Carlstadt, NJ, they have 2 open
houses a year and a swap meet in OCT which we always go too ! Please
check them out !

Society Back after a 20 year break. The PRSLHS is new

A website dedicated to a great little Jersey shortline that ran between

United Railroad Historical Society of NJ
The people keeping NJ's railroad heritage alive. They are the ones who
owned a great deal of equipment and artifact of NJ's fallen flags and do

The NYC High Line
A history of the New York Central's Viaduct rail line running through NYC
from 35th Street to St. John's Park Terminal (by the Holland Tunnel). Built
in 1934, abandoned by Conrail in 1980, it's a great history on one of the
NYC's most unusual but important rail lines.

RR - Great information and photos of a great little shortline RR that was
created in 1895 and ran just shy of its centennial when it folded in 1992 !
The abandoned line is going through a resurgence of lately !

RAILROAD HISTORIANS - They friends to every rail fan in NJ. With hope to make a NJ
Transportation Museum for us, they are a very active group in preserving
NJ's rich railroad history. They also are the owners and operators on

over 700' of track they run it on weekends ! !
